Jenna Fischer is best known for her role as Pam Beesly on the acclaimed TV show The Office For her role, she won the Emmy nomination for the Best Supporting Actress as well as two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Comedy.
Jenna was born and raised within St. Louis Missouri. Jenna observed as her mom Anne took part in plays at church. Her love for performance and theatre was cultivated as a teenager.
Fischer was a stage actress trained in her native country. Off-Broadway's production of Reasons to be Happy was directed and written by Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. In Steve Martin's most recent production Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy with Greg Germann & Josh Stamberg), she performed in the record-breaking Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's best friend in real life and Fischer launched with the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf at the end of October the year 2019. The podcast soon became popular. Each week it ranked in the Top Ten in global downloads and had more than 200 million in just its first couple years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Years award in January of 2021.
The Actor's Life was her first novel, and chronicles the road she took from St. Louis, Missouri to Hollywood which is where she discovered her calling as an actress professionally. Her second, Office BFF's (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) is an autobiography about her best friend and their experience working in The Office.
